This is one of those times I’m thankful for photo descriptions. Before I read theloudestvoice’s comment I was thinking, “Is he wiping toast on her?” Obviously, no. On so many levels no.
Few people realise that before the modern make up sponges were invented in 1995, toast was the preferred applicator of top make up artists all over the world. (Toast for powder, bread for cream formulations naturally)
